What to do with DT shifter bosses?

What to do with DT shifter bosses?
I am trying to think of something interesting to do with a spare DT shifter boss. I don't really want to remove it. I actually still have 6 speeds on the rear and a single ring up front. I was thinking to do something useful like modify the dt shifter to operate a small flamethrower or a watergun or something. Does anything else fit on that little braze-on?

I'm pretty sure this was discussed not too long ago, but my vote is to put a velo-orange bell there.

Can the dice be removed, should you ever decide to restore that ride to its true glory?
