nitto 123 or 125

i see the measurement differences between the two, for a street fixie which would be the best bet.

either, since your hands are going to be on the tops anyways.

i always fancied the EAI B127's with the trimmed ends

i have regular road drops now and i tend to use the drops quite often. basically i guess the 123's will have me leaning foward more, when i'm on the drops?

Its a real personal choice. I ride 123s on the street and track and have no problems, but for just street riding I would probably use the 125s as they have a shallower drop and a little less reach.

90% of the time you'll be on the flats for street riding, but depending on your riding style you may appreciate the more mellow dimensions of the 125s esp if you're smaller.

Both are great bars though.

Get the 127s, anatomical drops rule.

184 if you want comfort 177 if you want looks.

Gotta have some suicide levers if you're rocking those bars ;)

But seriously, I see them on old 12-speeds here and there around town. They look mad comfy.

It's official then, I'm an old man. Just ordered a set of 177's.

eddiebrannan 07-25-06 02:06 PM

i use 125s because my arms are shorter than average.

Might as well subscribe to the Rivendell Reader while you're at it. And get some barcons for your 650b tourer.
