They appear to be in portland maybe one of the OR posters knows of their reputation.

If you really can't get any anywhere just order them. Worst case you call your credit card company and dispute the charges.

Universal Cycles is trustworthy. I've never dealt with them but they're well known.

it's in portland, about a mile away from me, definitely a trustworthy company. they probably do ten grand in mail order every day, not a fly-by-night-operation.

Anyone have any luck finding a 24" rim and tire? I have a schwinn prolouge frame that is screaming to be fixed.

na975 08-04-06 06:29 PM

iv'e bought mucho stuff from universal cycles, but they dont have 650c mavics, he said he can order it, the free world is all out of 650c rims, mavic prolly stopped producing them, low demand i guess?

The 650C Velocity Aerohead rims are nice - true and light. Wheelbuilder.com has them.

Ebay has a truckload of velocity deep v's in 650c for like $40 USD. Can't beat that.
