why is there water in my deep v's?

well, because I just rode for an hour in a total downpour.

but um, honestly, is this a secret about deep v's nobody tells or are mine just ********?

nope, they get water in em. shouldn't hurt anything, but if it bugs you just take the tire off and spin.
