Seat tube dent

How serious is this dent? Like, is it significant enough to effect the strength now or ever?

I have a worse dent in my downtube (IRO Mark V) and it's fine. If you're concerned take it to a bike shop and see what they think (and if it's steel, they might be able to roll the dent out).

Can I ask how a dent is rolled out? Just a bit curious what that means.

Basically you get two blocks of wood with a hole cut in them that perfectly matches your tube (obviously each block of wood has half of the hole on it). You grease the blocks and clamped them onto the frame and "roll" it up and down the tube. The idea is that the dent has deformed the tube outwards around the dent, so if you squeeze the tube through a hole that is just the right shape it will push the deformed metal back into place and force the dent out.

I imagine it could easily ruin the decals/paint however.
