Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Yeah, seriously, please god... don't paint it. Vintage frames like that show the beauty of usage...

Sorry to bump an older thread;
I just picked up a similiar orange Velosolex and broke it down to rebuild it. Got any updates on your build?

When I'm rich I want a mid 80s pursuit track bike that is 100% Français. Mavic and LOOK to the hilt.

White LOOK sloping steel track frame, stem, seatpost and pedals, Mavic cxp22 rims, track hubs, cranks, bb, chain, bullhorns and aerobars. Idéale saddle.

Mais oui...
