Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Yes, you are ill.

The only thing that will help you is to purchase more bike gear on ebay. Then one day, maybe, you'll be cured.

I do the same thing. I'm thinking of starting a 'help-group' for ebay abusers. "Hello everyone, my name is John and I'm addicted to ebay. It's been 4 days since my last purchase...... (Starts sobbing)"
"Everyone, lets thank John for his confession... It takes courage" All- "THANKYOU JOHN"

I have a similar addiction, though I am a collector of many things. My excuse is that if I ride my bike more than I look at ebay, I am in the clear.

yesterday was my girlfriends birthday and i spent most of the time on ebay looking at bike stuff and bikeforums. of course we got into a big fight b/c she thinks she isn't sexy as some of the bike i look at. it's sad. if i go to the gym, they have personal computers on some of the machines and i workout while looking at ebay and craigslist. i have serious issues. and at school too. i can't go a coupld of hourswithout seeing what is up for sale. i'll leave a class to go the the computer lab so i can check what is going on.

damn right you're ill. you should have searches set up to notify you when the good stuff pops up on both CL and eBay. Browsing is for suckers.

If your searches will find it, it aint the good stuff. The secret to ebay is the stuff that's badly listed, misspelt, unnamed etc. It's a full time job, I tells ya......
