How do you know you are in love?
 

I frequent this forum alot so I thought i'd ask you all. Being the eclectic SS/FG bunch you are, i'd like your opinions.

So how do you know you are in love and not lust?

When you think about her all the time, but not always about sex with her. Personally, I prefer lust.

When you sell your only bike to buy her the ring.

When the bike goes through traffic without you ever turning the handlebars at speeds you never thought could be possible.

when you spend more time on the bike than on Al Gore's intArw3b.

right now, to whom i love and to whom i lust are completely diff't and it fkn blows.

When you like her based on how she handles, not how she looks.



But if you mean with a woman -- hell if I know.

You're at peace when you're with her. Or not.

She thinks it's cute when you polish her lugs.

Her seat fits just right.

You always chain her to a post when you go inside the bar.

When you cycle a total of 180 miles to get a glimpse of her and get shafted. That's when you know it's love... :(:(:(

Someone try telling a girl that. "I love my bike and it's okay with it, and I love you too. Why aren't you cool, baby?"

When it feels like your flying and you aren't on a bike anymore.

- When you feel free to take a leak while she's brushing her teeth
- When you agree to go bra and panties shopping a second time
- When she just won't shut the **** up
- Fear and acceptance of repurcussions
- When you fart in her presence - a) you don't blush and you smile (possibly because you embellish it with something like a good impression of curly from the three stooges)

Who has to be persuaded to go bra and panties shopping? Getting to see your girl in numerous tiny ensembles, and influence what she buys = C00L

If you don't want to control her, you just want to see her happy, with or without you. (But of course better with!)

uh dude, the only guys they let in the changing room are the ones trying the stuff on themselves. all the meanwhile you get to stand around looking like a perv, making all the broads in the joint feel self conscious. if she's going to don that nippleless, crotchless see-through number with the LED's, it's going to be a surprise and all her friends and sisters are going to know about it well before you do. oh yeah, and you get to enjoy it with the lights off since she doesn't want you to see how fat her ass looks in that getup

this is not about bikes.

When she's/he's not around, and a friend points out an extraordinarily beautiful woman/man at the bar, and you're all, "Yeah, whatever", as you keep staring at a wonderful point someplace in the near future which appears to said friend as nothing but a neon PBR sign.

When you want to buy a second frame just like it and build it up with slightly different components.

Falling in love is like wetting your pants.
