Shimming a Seatpost Tube on 80s Peugeot Carbolite 103
I just found out my 80s Peugeot Carbolite 103 frame has an unusual seat tube hole diameter (23.4 mm according to Sheldon Brown: https://www.sheldonbrown.com/seatpost-sizes-m-z.html
I am attempting to solve it by using a 22.2 mm BMX post and shimming it up 1.2 mm to 23.4 somehow. Unfortunately, the shims on the market all seem to be for regular sizes and the smallest 1.2 mm shim I could find was a 25.4 to 26.6. Anyone out there know how to make a homemade-custom shim?

go to your local hardware store and get yourself a piece of 0.6mm shim stock and some tin snips.
