If you're looking for a good street bb, not too expensive, go for the shimano UN73 ($30-40). If you want cheaper, the shimano UN53 is nice (about $20). If you want high end, phil woods are super nice but about $130. If you want SUPER smooth, and don't mind a lot of maintanence or are doing mostly track riding, the Sugino 75 bb is really nice.

EDIT: This question got me thinking. I've seen a Sugino 75 road crankset. Did sugino make a road specific bottom bracket too? Or did it just use the track bb?

Good point. Everything I reccommended is JIS taper except the phils which can be had in any threading and any taper.

7600 or 7710?
by ISO i'm assuming you mean British threading. since the 7600's are JIS.

Dura ace cranks arent ISO to start with. Well I know years ago Shimano was doing them in iso and jis but I doubt they are doing them in ISO anymore (im a campy guy.)

Secondly, are u talking about traks cranks or dura ace track cranks?

3rd... squared tapper or new isis typ'o cranks / bb???

4th the Matt chester frame has italian or english bottom bracket shell??? italian frames are sold here in the US with british BB shells so Im not asking something too weird i think, even french bikes are like that now.

5th have you eve go to get a car to a dealer only asking to the sales guy "i want a car with seats in red, and engine and 4 aluminum wheels!!!"

6th nobody read minds that I know of, well probably some people do but i dont hehehe so BE MORE SPECIFIC!!!!!!!!!!!!god dammit!

7th get any BB ****! since u have no clue what do have in there, probably any cottered bb axle will fix all your needs.

cya
