SS Gear
Have built a new MTB and want to build my Paramount MTB frame as a single-speed. Several questions:
- Is this a reasonable thing to do (why or why not0? - Who makes good SS rear hubs. The one my LBS recommended cost more than my Campy Record rear hub. Anything reasonable you can recommend? - Are their SS specific wheels available? Thanks. Hope to see you on the boardwalks. |
Is this a reasonable thing to do (why or why not)? Who makes good SS rear hubs. they're gonna be more expensive, that's a given. these companies don't move nearly as many parts as campy or shimano does. Are their SS specific wheels available? Hope to see you on the boardwalks. |

Building a single speed is not unreasonable...building a fixie is. No good reason ever to have a fixie...which is exactly why you should do it.!!!!!!
