+1 on the no shorts showing policy. if you can get them in dominica, pearl izumi sugar shorts. they're womens shorts (if the stupid name didn't give that away already) and they're pretty short. and when they are a little long & showing, you just kinda kick your leg up and down and it scrunches them back to the appropriate length. alternatively, you could just pull them up a little. but that doesn't always end up resting in the most comfortable position and, let's face it, just isn't as much fun as running around your room doing rockette-esque kicks in bike shorts and mini skirts. i love those shorts though, comfy as hell for riding and also facilitate me wearing ridiculous things like panda-print tank dresses while working at the bikeshop and not having to worry when i'm bent over changing a flat.

i got too fed up with trying to making uploading pictures work to post any recent photos for now. if you go to my homepage, i have a pic on my myspace (cliche what!) of me at the track wearing the sugar shorts, to give you an idea of what they're like. and my profile picture where i'm wearing the skirt, i've got the shorts on there too. b/c heaven knows that when one goes flying through the air after catapulting off one's bike in bike polo, a lady doesn't want her a$$ showing. :)

The SUV bumper tasted pretty good. Or so I must have thought at the time. :)

oh man, thanks for the info!... its weird cuz performance (which is brutally harrassing me with emails.. bastards! I buy one thing and you think you can just email me?!) is having a shimano/pearl izumi sale right now and I was looking at those shorts like, um, yesterday..they are a whole entire $5 off! but I guess thats better than nothing and they are only a 5" inseam... but I can "technically" get stuff down here in dominica..I just get it sent to my hubbies parents house first and then they ship it down here (hehehe)..but one question.. are they just shorts that get the sweat off your nice special parts..or do they have padding too?.. just wondering..it actually doesnt really matter to me, I'm just curious ;)
