What size frame?
 

Same as my road frame? Size up? or Size down? Why?
Not really out to do tricks(skids) just want to ride something different this winter.
My sister already said she'd loan me a pair of jeans!

Start with the same size as your road bike and test ride up and down a size as well. Buy the one that is most comfortable.

what barba said. i ride the same size for both fixed and road, for what it's worth.

if you're worried about standover height (but really, how often do you stand over your bike?) then remember that the bb is usually higher on track (and other fixed-specific) frames, so the same size will give your nuts a little less breathing room.

my fixie is 4 cm smaller than my road bike. but i wish my fixie was bigger, it was just a one of a kind frame and i didn't care about size too much. lots of exposed post.

FWIW my post is a little exposed as well.

My Lemond Sarthe is a 53. My Pake is a 55 (whaaat?).

Okay, here's how that works out: the Sarthe has a 54.5 top tube and a 100mm stem. The Pake has a 55 effective top tube and a 90mm stem. The Pake's also 2 degrees steeper in the seat tube and about a degree and a half steeper in the head tube. Standover height is irrelevant for me because I have stupidly long legs for my height. I actually fit terribly on stock compact geometry frames - normally if I'm on one with the proper effective top tube length/stem length, the seatpost will be up past its minimum insertion point.

My track bike is 1 cm smaller than my (soon to be) road bike.

Trek 2200.

The 2100 would more than suffice, but the shop at which I work (along with Trek) is out of the 2100 in 58cm, so 2200 it is.

It's sitting in the box just waiting for me to build it, I just have to sell this damn Pake first. (Whose auction, by the way, just ended without meeting my reserve).

Get yerself some of them fancy close-up short depth o' field images that all the kids are crazy about.

Or get it to anyone's studio and do some good studio shots (use open heads and rub down the tires with a wet cloth). Hell, take any shots you have and send them my way. I worked as a retoucher for a few years and I'll make'em all pretty-like for ya.

Not necessarily, but from my experience you can sell even the most festering pile of **** product as long as it looks good in the ad.

Seriously, I like your bike ... I'm just brainstorming how to make it more appealing to the masses.

Edit: Case in point, go to www.monkeywerks.ca, click on Portfolio and scroll to the right about 2/3rds of the way through the thumbnails. Click on the thumbnail of the hair crimper between the flamey Chanel bottle and the orange/black monitor shot. That's a $5 hair crimper that I took a shot of during some random "Product on white" day-long editorial shoot. With some contrasty lighting (soft boxes and umbrellas are only good for illumination, light that **** w/ open strobe heads) and post work (ie. the background) even the biggest piece of **** product can end up in someone's book.

I like it too, it's a nice bike. I just never ride it.

I think it was a combination of
1) crappy pictures
2) too high a price
3) end of season
