Post a picture of your favorite track bike. You can judge it based on appearance, components, roll of the dice -- whatever. But no conversions.

Of the 130someodd bikes in my screensaver file, this is the one I find the most amusing.

That thing is less a track bike than most conversions, though.

That pic is at the same time intresting, amusing and annoying.

Its only of use on the the track, its about as track specific as you can get.

stayer bikes are the ugliest **** on this earth.

and by "stayer bikes" you meant "all of my body parts"?

My favorite? the Ohtaki that just arrived this morning!

I've never seen a better looking bike. If I ever do i'll be in shock, because to me that is the perfect bike.

that was my guess too, but in all fairness, I think that sorta falls under the track bike umbrella. at least in this case.

seriously? I mean SERIOUSLY?? the frames nice and all, but you've never seen a better bike?

**** you!!! Now I want a Tommasini. And I don't even want a trackbike at all, let alone a steel one (ooops...)

that tommasini kinda ****s me up cause it's got cable routes on the bottom bracket. until now, I didn't notice. I just thought they were bb cutouts.

I haven't. All those bikes you posted are no doubt beautiful as ****, but they all have issues when talking about the perfect bike for me. Geometry angles, tire clearence, paint, lug shape, label style, stem style, track ends, ect.

The Conti I posted is completely perfect in every way (in my eyes). The only two bikes that comes close in beauty to the Conti is TNCLR's Casati and 12XU's Mercian.

They are cutouts not cable guides.

Yeah, the guys at Tom were too busy designing the paint job to make a track specific BB shell. I could live with it, though.
