Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

^Man, I have a $350-400 budget for some new wheels and that would be perfect. I am thinking of doing open pros laced to Miche hubs or Dia Compe Gran Compe but Phil Wood hubs would be awesome. Wish it wasnt cash/local pickup only.

dents and all.

I completely agree. Also, WTF that frame is dented and the seller still wants over a grand. Its amazing to me how inflated the njs label has become.

Another auction where the seller has overvalued the worth of the frame. The reserve is 700 and the shipping from germany is 820 is anyone cares (I was one of the bidders)

$1000 is insane for a used frame. My friend picked up a Bomber Pro with Phil Wood hubs, Nitto Jaguar stem Sugino 75 cranks etc... for the same price off the same craigslist.

Maybe I'm just bitter because its too small for me.

Not because of the frameset for sale but because of the description text, below:

https://cgi.ebay.de/Schroder-track-fi...QQcmdZViewItem

"Now imagine this with a (custom made) XXL messenger bag, a (custom made) cycling cap, a Brooks saddle, 10cm wide flat bars, and 17 assorted spoke cards... just ready to race!

Perfect for alleycat racing, skid competitions, track stands & tricks, wheelies, Pisumo™, messenger championships, or just to go to your local Critical Mass! Support your fixed gear scene
!"

Anyhow, that dude has always tons of cool track gear up for sale.
