I know little to nothing about the frame and am interested in buying this, though, i don't know what a possible price would be. the seller says the bike is great condition other than some minor rust around the bb shell and a few decal chips, thanks.

broke-land? maybe he means built by self and now he's broke and needs to sell it or maybe gasp maybe is stolen? either way decent price for the components / build. Its not a conversion bike so it is worth the price. If you can get 450$ out of it then do it. But realistically 500$ is more than reasonable, look at the new Kilo TT Pro on bikesdirect selling for 459$ or something like that... beauty of a bike but for the price and components this one is better.

I thought these were the deep v's until I read "These rims are from Weinman and are styled almost identically to the deep v". Would you say these are knock-offs and I should stay away from them?

These wheels are cheaper yes, but the problem with them is they are also cheaper. Not nearly as durable yet still ultra-heavy (like velocity). Save your money, buy velocity.

i'll bet they hold up fine. iirc they are a little heavier than velocity's but for the price they can't be beat if you want deep v action...

I want them because they come in neat colors and they are sturdy for hard urban riding, but if you think they're cool then that's a plus I think.
