I want that. I think I may actually try to win this auction.

Not so hot on the 130mm spacing in the back or the two derailleur hangers, but this baby will be mine once a) sell everything I own, b) hunt down the other bidders.

I'm a little worried about not liking 650 in the front, especially with my city's roads.

I don't think it'll go too high, because Yamaguchi is a working builder, and one can get a custom track frame (one that's actually USCF-legal) from him for around $1400. But then again, people are stupid and fixed gear is popular.

Oh man...is this the same thing as the motobecane messenger? $240 shipped is tempting...sell the wheelset for a little bit and it's less than $200.

I'd bet you could flip the wheels on Craigslist or eBay for $80 or so, and end up with a decent track bike for a song. You're a small rider who wants a track bike Blicks, you should get it.

To anyone who says it's not a "real track bike" or whatever, I watched myself and the rest of the field get lapped by a guy on that same bike (branded as a Fuji Track) one night at the track last summer. The only non-stock components were the bars and the wheels.

Sorry for breaking forum etiquette, and posting in the ebay thread or something-

It was just that important in my world because cinelli lasers are amazing and really do represent innovation and progression in technology.

Now if it was a shark that shot laser beams, instead of a cinelli laser, i would pay a kidney for it.

Only if i can only get the $10 back haha.

I would never pay that much for that bike. Maybe $500. And then sell it but no never in a mill years.

The fact that it looks like a 40 year old TT bike... just happens to be true right? Tubing is not aero, no carbon to be seen, box section front rim, non integrated seatpost. Starship titanic seat. Threaded fork. Giant un-aero "aero" levers. Crankset isn't carbon.

I mean besides the disc rear wheel that's from the time of the pyramids, you can hardly call this innovation and progression of anything.
