IRO crank and Bottom Bracket width
On the IRO website, it has the cranks shown with the chainring attached on the inside on the arms. It also recommands using a 110 mm BB to achieve a 42 mm chainline. If I were to get the 107mm bb, would I be able to mount the chainring on the outside of the arms? (if it matters, the wheels i have are IRO/areohead, 120 spaced) Thanks

I just have to ask...why do you sign the s in "steve" with such a wierd character?
wait wait are you trying to use road cranks on a track bike?!
sugino makes a 103 so you can run the ring on the outside of their rd cranks.
a shimano 107 and 110 have the same length spindle on the drive side. i.e. they'll give you the eact same chainline.
the extra 3mm on the 110 are all on the non-drive side. |
