Front rack, no canti/eyelets

Is there a front rack out there for a bike without eyelets or cantilever brakes? I think there was some guy in SF making these for messengers...

Any creative manipulation possible for normal ones?

You can use pipe clamps to hold the rack to the fork. But I think you are thinking of
