How do you feel about the De Bernardi Zonal Track?

i'm looking to pick one up.

i'd much rather have a lugged steel frame but i'm been searching for months and can't find one i like, nor do I have the cash to front for a moyer custom frame... which would be sick.

any one know how the bike rides?

what's the paint job like?

how's the weight?

etc.

thanks

There are quite a few threads already discussing this topic. I located a recent one using the search feature (DeBernardi frame threads pop-up every now and again...) and have linked it for your convenience:

[165] with respect i think you jumped the gun on that de bernardi thread

OP asked about the Zonal aluminum frame. Unless he is confused and referring to the Thron, that thread's not going to be much use to him. even if he was referring to the Thron that thread's not going to be much use, come to that, as it's largely a discussion of the paint issues and little else.

reopened, good call.

(merged eddie's thread)

I figured the OP was looking at the steel version and using the ZONAL reference mistakenly. My bad for the assumption.
