I picked up a WALZ wool w/ earflaps and really like it! Great coverage and perfect weight (ie. not too hot/thick)

For winter I usually wear a wool jeep cap. 100% wool, and $8 at any Army Navy store. They look like crap, but keep my bald head and ears warm in the elements.
I'd like something a bit nicer looking though for when I wanna look good, and one of the Deller caps caught my eye.

Interesting..It looks like jackie walz has a website, and some new colors, styles, and materials..and MUCH higher prices.. It also seems as if they have a stiff bill now?

You need to give yourself some more time to decelerate, so your brain doesn't go slapping around inside your skull. Unfortunatly, barring some force-field style tech advance, you can't buy deceleration time without a big, dorky helmet. The more foam you have to crunch through on the way to the pavement, the better.
If you're too cool to wear a helmet, then that hat might be better than nothing come crashtime, i guess.

Dustin from Cadence will often times have a bunch of stuff, hats included that aren't on the website. Try emailing him and see if he has anything else similar.

That hat looks rad! Might have to retire one of my older watch caps or flapped wool hats for one of those badboys. Always looking to add to my hat armada.

I had a Kucharik wool ear flapped cap that I really liked. It was warm, but not hot and the bill kept rain off my glasses. I lost it on a bike tour and really miss it.

as do i. i bought a l/xl walz ear flap cap and a l/xl black cotton cap and they are just barely bigger than the original size. originally, walz sent the original size and I had to ship them back for the larger size. the larger size seem to fit a little better, but still ride up every now and then.
