Im getting a king 1" threadless headset for free froma friend, just needs a new bearing...

will the old unsealed forks i have work with it if the bottom race is replaced? or do I need a new fork?

i want something new, and threadless with a clamp on stem, any economical recomendations?

I'm not sure what you're asking. A threadless fork is a threadless fork... just put the CK race on it and you'll be gold. If you do want to buy an entirely new fork, you can get the Soma Rush fork from Soma and Trackstar for ~$120.00. Or Bikeworks NYC has some nice threaded ones and the Steamroller fork.

Replace "unsealed" with "threaded" and people will understand you. Yeah, you need a new fork if you want to use the CK headset but it seems you have figured that out already. (Classic case of "Get a coat to match the button" - as the Hungarian saying goes.)
I'll leave it to the others to make recommendations.

Actually, you can have the steerer of the fork replaced so you don't absolutely need to get a new one. Ask your local framebuilder for a price quote.
I've even heard of people clamping a threadless stem straight onto the threaded fork steerer, but I def. wouldn't recommend doing that.

you can get a threaded race and locknut from CK and use these with the rest of your headset parts
and then you could get a quill-to-threadless stem adapter from Nitto or similar
but all this would be kindof backwards, as it just seems like you want a threadless fork
