Zues actually made some rad track stuff. Campy knockoff yes, but well made. They came out of spain. I'm pretty sure that they are BSA. But you should take it to your LBS and try one. Just clean up the threads, if they are rough, you can pick up a metric thread file really cheap. Easy fix.

Only some of the rental bikes at our local velodrome have lockrings. I tend to choose one with the lockring just in case I relapse into skidding street fixed rider. I don't see why anyone wouldn't run one on the street though, unless they were very easy on their bike, and wanted to brag about that.

I just got back from the LBS and the guy said its probably italian threaded mainly because my cog only threads about half an inch onto the hub and wont go any further and its a Dura Ace. Looks like I need a new cog and lockring. God damn fixed gear money pits....

chase threads get a decent quality lockring and mount it properly
