id assume he knows what frame he owns. i think its a safe bet he got it second hand. if you do a search for "skidmark" on fixed gear gallery, youll see he has quite the stable.

This "jonny skidmark" chap owns the most ridonkulous bikes.

onetwentyeight 12-22-06 12:34 PM

s'all good.

borrachobandito 12-22-06 07:43 PM

Skidmark is pretty nuts, he's always winning denver races and comps. The guy just won't stop pedaling.

trackstar10 12-23-06 11:51 AM

yeah like i was about to say- tiemier with paint job. can get a little expensive. and a little flimsy but rediculously stiff.

WHAT?

gregg 12-24-06 11:18 PM

http://velospace.org/user/626 more of his stable. He used to have the superbike up on the site, but it disappeared a while ago. Awesome builds, all of them

sr20det 12-25-06 12:07 AM

thought it was a stripped national gt team frame.

jacobpriest 12-25-06 12:22 AM

thats what i thought too..

Serendipper 12-25-06 12:35 AM

That bike is mad squirrley....

Before the skid, that front end was twitching harder than a meth addict in a dry spell.

jacobpriest 12-25-06 12:44 AM

You should ride a concept. Same way. It's the staightblade i believe (and steep HT angle but duh.)

Serendipper 12-25-06 12:51 AM

I don't mind so much, unless I'm doing no handed stuff. Then I definitely hate it!

i don't know, I'd be squirrely too right before doing that.

vinnydelnegro 12-25-06 02:11 AM

dammit! i barely missed that cyclops of his on craiglist. i then saw it on ebay, but the auction ended for some reason and now he has it. i would actually use it as a geared road bike too.

Avian 12-25-06 04:10 AM

that bike has nasty welds... I dont like it.

I don't think that's the bike's fault...ridere makes no handed slow riding 'twitchy' or not

I've talked to him at the naccc's, and I even documented his shattered fork at monster track.

onetwentyeight 12-25-06 06:35 PM

I live in Denver, but I am moving to Seattle. The bike was a Tiemeyer, i got it for $50 from some US national team punk, I think he wanted to buy an eighth of weed. I loved that bike, but recently I have sold a lot of stuff in anticipation of my move. I have one track bike now, a custom merlin.

Also, here is a pic of it before the repaint, on the first day, before I broke the wound up for at monster track.
