if the pake is anything like my rush, i'd buy it in a heart beat.
|
i am enjoying mine as well... granted i got it used as a complete bike from a mechanic at my LBS and with that comes some benefits for it servicewise there (not too mention the parts he had on it).
i'm not sure what all the fuss about weight is... if was concerned about weight i doubt id be buying steel. the difference between the pake and an iro could be nixed with a heavy wheelset, or a number of other other combos. i recognise it aint a flyweight, but its a first fix for the OP and if you've been riding geared beaters (or even entry level geared bikes) the thing will feel light anyways... |
I'd be careful. Volvos are nice, but expensive to fix. And you don't want to be seen driving a station wagon, now do you?

i have a pake, i like it alot.

Pake is Solid
[QUOTE=RB925;3636168]Wsup,
What's the deal with Pake frames ? I'm new to the whole fixed gear scene and I was just wondering if a Pake frame would be good for a beginner like me ? Pro's / Con's ? Thanks. Im enjoying my Pake as it isn't flashy and that its been my do all bike. Great construction and really twitchy comes in handy when avoiding drama. I did my first century on my Pake and was comfortable while doing so. |

A lot of fixed gear stuff has gone because it is deemed less popular but those in the know still have them and ride them and you can still get some awesome bikes. |
Thanks buddy!
I was curious because I got my pake RumRunner about 2 years ago and didn’t know much about the quality or model.. FYI I’m just spreading the love I have for my pake :)

Back from the dead 🧟♂️ No more zombies, it is way overdone. Give me something interesting maybe a new concept in horror or science fiction. |

I got it but new threads if you have new info is generally a better way to go. Loving a bike is a good thing.
