bmx saddle on a track seatpost?

hey, will an old kashimax aero saddle fit on a regular seatpost? are the fixtures the same? are the posts the same width? thanx,

BMX saddles now have 8 mm rails, while "standard" saddle have 7 mm rails

If you put an 8mm in a 7mm rail seatpost you can break the screws

the saddle is nos from the eighties. was it 8mm then?

Old Kashimax BMX seats are NJS-stamped.

really? rad. is there a difference between the ones marked "kashimax aero" and those just "aero"?
