foods that compliment ea. other

i found that having a large brand muffin and washing it down with large glass of prune juice = BAD! I went out for a ride and then WOW my stomach was goin nutz.

Google "food combining" if digestion is a problem. Or take digestive enzymes.

I thought this was going to be a thread about what foods taste good with eachother... like, smoked salmon and capers for instance.

prune juice: muffin, you sure are working hard today. must be a quality brand.

muffin: thank you, prune juice. but if i didn't know any better i'd say you're tryin' to start some *****.

complement.

and bran.

take no offense; i mean none.

kemmer 01-15-07 05:34 PM

I hardly ever eat brand muffins, mostly just the generic kind.

Best food combos ever:
Breakfast burrito + Corona = happy Kemmer.
Pizza + Henry Weinhard's root beer = really happy Kemmer.

i quite like egg mayo in a wholemeal pitta washed down with half apple/water as far as pre-ride food goes...

I have always thought in the back of my mind- cheese and onions

pinkrobe 01-15-07 06:34 PM

Cool Ranch Doritos and a can of Coke. Toast and tea is good too. Bran and prunes is for fogeys!

CliftonGK1 01-15-07 06:52 PM

Broccoli and cheese omelettes on race day. Let the back of the pack deal with the consequences.

If I ate a large bran muffin, drank a large glass of prune juice and went for a ride this post would be in the for trade thread and read something like this:

Have: White raleigh frame with brown rear triangle
Need: New pants

burritos and beer, just so long as i don't eat the whole burrito (if I'm planning to ride that is), because I'm not moving much afterwards.

bonechilling 01-16-07 01:21 AM

Was "each" too much to type, that you had to abbreviate
it to "ea."?

br995 01-16-07 03:50 AM

Hey, man, he saved himself from having to type a whole 'nother letter.

My last two years of college totally agree with you.

Eggs sunny-side up and whole-wheat toast are pretty much awesome.

Any pizza + any beer (root, ginger, and birch included) are great too.

jaypee 01-16-07 08:19 AM

Beer and deep fried cheese curds.
They work so well together they become a delicious soup!

the pope 01-16-07 08:40 AM

kwiki-mart coffee and ho ho's.
