New messenger bag

I just received my custom bag from Seagull bags in Ohio. Super nice dude too. Check them out:

https://seagullbags.com/

sorry quality sucks of the pic. Its really big, with a nice cam on the beefed up shoulder strap. You cant dissconnect the strap completely, but i never used that feature much on my old bag anyway.

If that a weird shaped flap, or is that just the way the picture looks?

it does have a wave to the bottom of it, but its exaggerated because of the picture. when closed it keeps the pockets out of sight, except the very bottom of them.

Yeah the shoulder doesnt release, it has a HUGE cam buckle though. The pad is sewn into the bag, so it doesnt shift at all. It also has the cross strap but i took off the receiving end of it from the strap because i never use those things.

Hopefully this means mine is nearing completion. This is a good impetus to e-mail Dan and see if he's finalized the art that's going on the flap..

I'll be the first to ask: What the hell is the design on your bag? I see Ohio on the right, but the rest is just abstract shapes to me.

Don't feel bad, Aeroplane. I was in the same boat.

For a second I was like "Is that....GUIRON?!?!!"

Got Kaiju on the brain...thanks, Dipper.

I should get a bag with a French press on it. The OP and I can ride around.

Thanks! I don't drink it, that's probably why it wasn't in my mental inventory.

These are great bags, having worn one for hours during a hectic race I can attest to the quality of these bags.

Mine is supposed to be done this week. I can't wait.

yeah Ive been using it all week at school now, and im pretty much in love with the bag. I picked up all 16 books (history majory) i needed this semester, plus a couple new binders and got it all crammed in there. ridiculous.

also, funny sotry about the coffee pot. i dont even drink coffee all that often. I called Dan up at seagull and was like "my bag finally gave out, school starts in 2 weeks. you HAVE to have a bag lying around." He apparently loves coffee, and this bag he built for himself, basicly to look at. He felt bad i was bagless, and sold me his personal bag which incidentaly was the only bag he had lying around because he makes each bag as they are ordered, not beforehand.

so if THAT doesnt attest to the type of dude he is, i dont know what will. support the dude if you can. I hope this bag lasts me for years, but when i need a new bag he will be the dude i call up.

ps- that is such a weird coffee pot. like a cross between clip art and a stencil. haha i think i like it precisely because i dont drink it. my bag is an enigma.
