replacing BB on Dumpster Bike, cotter pin Cranks?
So, I have rescued a steel dumpster horse. it was Laying on the side of sunset in San Francisco. It's a blue Free Spirit FS12. Official Korean Steel. I picked it up because My lady has been begging for her own hotpink rattle can Fixie. It's a Sear bike I'm pretty sure, but will work well for her first suicide hubbed fixie. Anyhoo, of course it has those disgusting cotter pinned cranks. I hammered out the pins and pulled out the bottom bracket. I bought a 40t cog and new crank arms to fit off a guy on CL. Now I need a BB. What would be the cheapest replacent BB so I can put on the new cranks?
Anyone know the usual size for a replacemnt BB on a sears bike? I can't find my tape measure.

Most likely is 68mm english. Spindle length would probably be around 110-130 depending on your cranks and chainline.
Just pick up any sealed BB unit. It'll be cheap.
