Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Here is my first conversion, my apologies on the bad quality pics, i was trying to get that last bit of day light. Since the picture this winter, she is now sporting silver flat bars, with oury's, along with an open pro on the front laced to a phil high flange and a brake. Only reason I threw a open pro and phil on it was so that I could use a brake, other wise those open pro's +phils are too nice for her hahaha, although she is my baby, and won't sell her. Once a I buy a proper frame she will get converted back to a road bike with all her shimano golden arrow groupo again. But I think she's purdy.

covered it up so it wouldn't get ruined, i was tired of worrying about scratching it dinging it up. besides now it looks mad max as hell. and i left the valve stems on so i can blow up the tubes, and make it inflatable!

amphibious bikes FTW!

Ok, I'm bored...I'll bite. This one is on its way out. Sad to see it go, but I'm moving and can only take 1 bike--basically, one that's less theft-worthy.

I think I'll try to craigslist it in my downtime from this sprained ankle; it's sad to think I may never ride it again.

It has a flatbar with ourys now and bmx platforms with toe clips. soon to have a front fender and cruiser bars, 27 inch wheels are great for rain/pothole crappy road commuting.

"Pedalphile" I can understand... as I am among those attending that 12 step program.

It's not working...I still have too many bikes.

step 1 is admitting you have a problem.

step 2 is going around to all your friends and apologizing for always analyzing their bikes and trying to get them to let you work on it.

I've posted this before but here's my winter/rain beater, it doesn't look nearly as pretty now that it's all covered in salt crystals and winter grime.

Custom brake extenders.
