Yeah, cause buckles weigh so much more than adjusters... I know I'm constantly wishing my backpack had less buckles.

I never use the hip straps on my backpack. It gets smooshed between your thighs and stomach when you're in the drops. Besides, on a bike alot of the weight is distributed across your back unless you ride in a more upright position.
