FAQ's as a sticky?

Okay I give all credit to "Gadeux" if this becomes a sticky because he had the idea. This is what he said:
"if only this place had a decent faq

wouldnt be too hard to create one

so many people would save time"

165 can you possibly make this a sticky?

Okay i don't have the time nor enough knowledge to keep this up but could someone who has the time, experience, and skill to make a FAQ thread reality on here? This would, as Gadeux said, save alot of ppl time (both the ?ers and answers because topics wouldn't get beat to the ground as they always do). I know its alot to ask of but think of the stress you won't have to put up with for seeing the same "stupid (to some)" ?s unexperienced riders have. I myself have been a cause to this problem and figured it would help alot of ppl out, in particular those who get mad about it. Remember stress kills and we don't won't folks on here gettin stressed from ?s that have been talked about before. This is a place to relax, have fun, and converse with family, not get pissed off.

FAQs only work when people read them, and the chances of someone whos going to ask a question that would be in a FAQ actually reading that FAQ seem to be pretty low.

Edit: It would also take away from some bike forums halarity on repetitive threads.

if we made everything a sticky, it'd be like making nothing a sticky. that would solve the problem.

My hand is sticky.

no more stuck threads - use the SEARCH function if you want to locate information on specific areas of bicycling insight.

This place has too much hand-holding going on (remember those rules you all agreed to when you joined?) and garbage to clean up before anything else is done to modify stuck threads or create new ones.

People that should read a FAQ thread are exactly the ones that won't.

They're the same ones that don't use the search function.
