Good Places for Parts?
Hey all, I'm new here and doing a full restoration on a mid-1950's single speed cruiser, brand unknown.
The rear fender is in pretty sad shape, and I'd like to replace it with as close a match as possible. can anybody recommend a good website for parts? At the request of the owner (not me) I have located an old Bendix 2 speed kickback hub, and am having 2 new alloy wheels built for the bike. It should be pretty outstanding when I'm done with it... not that I'm blowing my own horn or anything. :D |
Your lbs should have a catalog full of Wald fenders for you to look at. They make some pretty retro beach cruiser looking fender sets that your lbs could order for you.

J and B/Island is also a good supplier of older parts

Thanks guys. New at this, I've since realized that I should've posted this over in the "Classics and Antiques" section.
