You could use old bar tape. Bike shop dumpsters would be a good source for this. You could probably collect enough in a week or two if you hit 5-10 shops 2x a week. You'd probably score some good tires along the way too.

Has anyone seen the dude who covered his bike in pages from his favorite book and turned his spokes into snowflakes? i can't decide if that's the greatest thing ever or the worst.

I'm pretty excited that this thread is a sticky. At least this bike is getting ridden, but what a waste. My kid would be disowned if he rattlecanned my old Hetchins. Maybe this is why I don't have kids.

There is a difference of about a foot in height between his saddle and the flats of his bars. Holy ****, maybe it's just me but that looks uncomfortable.

A top tube protector would be dumb, but not a pad. I'll defend the pad because I have to carry my bike up 12 flights of stairs everyday. Your shoulder gets really sore.

NVO adjustable stem system cut down so that there is no adjustment left.

also how the hell is that seatpost not past the minimum insertion.

or at least one that would be ridden in that awesome underground teenage city in TMNT 1. you know, the one with all the indoor skate ramps, free video games, and all the pizza you could ask for?

pads are also nice for locking up to poles etc., if you don't want to mar the paint.

He's liable to **** up his with his nunchaku's though.
