Across the Pond, they call these "Hip Hop Slave Bikes"; known here as "Tarck".

What seems pretty jackass to me is to spend a ton of money to get a track specific frame, then put risers on it.
although i'm not one to jump on the bandwagon, i see someone in my town riding a pursuit fixed conversion from time to time. Needless to say he was runs a corima on the front, risers- and i've never seen him go faster than 10mph.

I'd ride the "black label" bike. Looks like it'd be fun and there's no way you'd ever get it going fast enough to actually hurt yourself when it inevitably breaks.

What's wrong with that bike? Looks fine to me, I love the track bike style here in Tokyo, I live in shibuya now, so everyday I am surrounded by sweet bikes.
