No, I'm saying you should proof read your posts to make sure they are clear and unambiguous.

Also, why the need to rip on others bikes? Seriously.

So I thought about it for like 15 secs and realized I will never make it in the rough and tumble race world. But then I thought some more and it came to me. I was missing something. A name on my bike! Do I have a sticker with my name on it? No, I can not say I do. Do I have a felt tipped marker? No, do not have one of those either : (. But wait! I have a pen I use in college! It can hardly write on my bike but this will have to do! I gave up half way. Maybe I will be a mediocre racer, just like I am a mediocre person : (. Though now I can distinguish my bike from the zero other bikes I have seen like it.

-edit I typed up something to defend my self here, from the above post, but realized you would not read it anyways. So I gave up and deleted it.

Hard to believe that is is bike considering he rides for specialized.
For the record, you said the bike was ok, but that the guy was a jackass. So you did say something bad about him.

Sorry to drag that up again.

ya i tried to explain myself. I meant because the op said something bad about him. Maybe I exaggerated his post a little. I really do not see the big deal. I also do not understand how this is focussed on me, and not the person that posted the bike. This whole thing is dumb. What I post. What that other guy has been posting. I really feel bad for people that have to read this crap.

Let me explain it one more time.

Op's post

look at this n00b. he think's he's hella fast with his name on the top tube, get a life, i met him once and he's so cocky!

My post

Just cause the guy is a ****** doesn't make the bike

I really do not understand. If you read both posts it should be clear. Maybe this only makes sense in my mind. In my mind I am actually defending the guy. I do not know.

lol mad 'cause he was knockin' on a pro's bike

i think its okay to do. if shaq wants to bling out his SUV with spinners, i can say its tacky and stupid. he can probably slam dunk me, but is that relevant? not really.

we're talking about bikes, not people. sheesh

Personally I'm going to buy the cheapest K Mart bike two sizes too small for my size, paint it bright yellow and paint in big pink letters "Pussie Wagon" on the down tube. And I'm thinking pink beads on the spokes.

I'm either going to be King **** on block or I'm looking at an ass beating. What do you guys think?

I think Ziemas's first post was just a reference to everyone bagging the bike and the rider. the person who posted it did not loose his mind over the issue, why did you?

I wouldn't be surprised if the owner of the bike wasn't the one who posted the bike in the first place!

the jackass thread means: post jackass bikes
not: if you're a jackass post a bike

Disclaimer- This post is not directed at any person, nor am I trying to be offensive in any way.

He made it so it encompassed every one, but clearly directed at me considering he quoted me twice. I admited my post were a bit outlandish. What is the point in beating a dead horse. I really do not get it. I defended the guys bike and was misinterpreted. It really can be that simple, I promise. I feel like people skim post. Then choose to get super offended when something is taken out of context. This is my last post regarding this whole ordeal.

Either that, or they fire photon torpedos so you don't have to slow down at intersections; you just blast your way through.

I like those handlebars. Put some caps on them and I'll take a pair.

I'm not taking sides (first off, I've lost track and interest in the argument). However, I find it amusing that folks are arguing about whether it's okay to rip on people and not just their bikes in this thread. If it's true that we should be talking about the bike and not the bicylist, then the thread title should be changed, again. It clearly, says "bicyclist." Not that I agree with it.

Not a Spin. Spins weren't aero like that and the spokes weren't swept. Not that Spin wheels weren't cool, but that looks more like a Fir or some other funky European carbon tri-spoke.

I'd stick some model rocket engines in them for hill climb assists or turbo on the flats. Maybe even some forward facing roman candles.

Everyone has been so distracted by those ridiculous bars that that tiny little cross lever has yet to be hated upon. Car cut you off? No problem, just go for the tiniest brake lever known to man. Color matching it was probably a terrible idea in this instance- you'll never be able to find the damn thing. Not that anyone rides that bike, anyway.

I can see a tiny bit coming out of the lever, curving under the stem. Probably connected to a headset-mounted cable stop.
