yeah, maybe the jackassery is in the fgg description(which i didn't read) but that bike looks like any other commuter bike. looks like a bike with a purpose.

Not jackass. That looks like a pretty sweet commuter/ beast of burden. I would have added fenders, but it looks from the description like the guy is going to do that.

This was in the tokyo thread.
His spinergy rear wheel is a little tore up, note: chunks missing

The spinergy is a bit sketch but there is no way this bike belongs in here.

I would love to see someone with cut down bars like that try to squeeze through a tight space only to have their shoulders get stuck and the bike fly out from underneath them like in road-runner cartoons.

its not like having them cut that short is helping the rider out in any way.

yeah, he was long skidding and ****ed up. Right next to Pablo... It was pretty funny in person. By that point, you're barely rolling so it looks worse than it is.

Because it's a road frame? I see water bottle cage bosses as well.

And are those actually Cinelli pista bars that got chopped up above? Aren't those a bit wide for track drops?

I don't hate on pistas but this is one of the worst set ups I've seen in a while:

saddle angle, breakless with flats... sad because stickered up beaters can be really awesome.
