I have to admit. I bought an aerospoke. I took it out of the box. 10 minutes later I put it on eBay.

On the shop scale, it weighed as much as my entire road wheelset. Plus the carbon pressing looked terrible IMO.

I wonder if that saddle would go any lower if it could. You know, with that super short stem and all.

but it's so ugly with that stem and riser bar

This is the guy's comment on his bike

Kind of a waste of such a interesting track frame, but at least its getting used daily.

My prologue is a 53cm, w/ HED rear disc and dura-ace to araya up front... The disc is a freewheel, so I guess you could run a suicide if you wanted, but HED makes a fairly cheap track kit... I'm trying to sell it so PM me if you're interested. Schwinn Chicago too.

i had a shogun kaze with full 600 group, sold it for a great price to some member here. haven't really heard from him since...

I hate it when people put a front 700 though. it really messes up the geo. I guess it helps fix the problem of a low bottom bracket when running fixed though. and there's no way that fits right with such a long stem and the seat slammed down like that. looking at the now super slack seat tube, i'm guessing he has it slammed so he can put a foot down while seated.

I'm trying to sell the funny bike. Wasn't aiming it at you. Though you could buy it if you're interested.

not such a bad bike perse. but really? $400. most of us start out on conversions but really you can get a new big box track bike with better components and such for cheaper. I mean no matter how much you put into it it is still a conversion. Plus Ive ridden by this guy so many times and he cant ride for jack!

i'm just gonna throw it out there that I prefer how my conversion rides over a kilo tt. the kilo just feels numb, dunno how to more accurately describe it. I just hate that the bottom bracket is so low.

that said, 400 still seems steep, nothing spectacular about that bike. he probably just put it high to account for lowballers.

what would you do with that bike? and, how often would you ride it built the way it's 'supposed to be'?

yeah it's a bike crew down here. They even have a rally cry/chant that they say to show how cool they are at the critical mass rides or the stupid hipster "critical pass" rides.

amen. i feel the same about the bb height on conversions.
anyone who says 'o lol conversion' or 'i only ride track bikes' is a fool. its not a black and white thing like 'track bikes over here, everyone else who rides bikes over here'
i have geared bikes. i have a fixed gear conversion[which i recently put brakes and a flipflop freewheel on]. i have had track bikes. i've been hated on while riding all of them.
hated by local dudes on fuji [fake]tracks with arrospoks and local dudes on real track bikes with njs everythings
hated by specialized allez pro/dura-ace guy and giant tri bike guy during my commute every morning
hated on by mtb dad + his bike trailer of kids.

who cares just ride.

Again, IMO, and I know it was a joke. Just had to say sumtin.
