I dont know what is crazier, the streatched out geometry, the ridiculously large chainring, the tiny little cog or that fast that the whole package looks fairly normal. Obree is the man, how doe she push that for an hour with his skinny little legs? I'd expect quadzilla size thight from pushing 130+ gear inches for an hour.

There was some trash talker on youtube saying he rides a 64 x 14 gear and passes cars at 40mph all day . Perhaps he and the owner of the baby blue bike should go mashing some day.

would it be jackass to put omniums on my bike coz en-jay-ess? the s75 bb is smooth, but omniums would be more practical and sealed and of pretty good quality. i probably also wouldn't be so paranoid about riding in rain and whatnot.

probably not, but if obree is experimenting with **** and making it work (see old faithful) then maybe you're not qualified to judge fit sans rider based on 1 element of the bike.

These bikes, if seen on the street, would most definitely be Jackass. They only work on the track, going for the Hour Record.

Here's an updated version of my original Shogun "King Snake" : 1977 Shogun 500 Tange Cro-Mo Tubing frame and fork; Shimano Tourney 52T crankset with 175mm arms; no name 17 tooth cog; Weinmann white rims laced to Formula Hubs with DT Swiss spokes; Kalloy Seat Post; Origin 8 Velo saddle; Dia-Compe Front Brake Caliper; Pyramid BMX brake lever; no name riser bars with Titec bar ends; M quill stem; KMC white chain; Origin 8 track pedals with MKS Cages...

Big change is the paint - i've inversed it from its previous scheme with Matte black tubes and glossy red lugs.

enjoy

i feel so sorry for this shogun. the bars, the skull on the stem, the handlebars, the truly awful paint job.. ugghhhhhhh

From what I understand he will switch it over when he does the hour attempt.

that's pretty normal for an Obree bike. I'm kinda disappointed actually. I wanted the UCI to make another rule to render his record illegal. Is there anyone who is more of a pain in their ass?

Selling this bike to save up for a funny pursuit frame. Been comuting with it for 14 months and has a small dent on the top tube from not having a gard. Runs great on the track and has a flip flop option for two different ratios or fixed/free. Also have some straight bars or the original saddle if either are desired. $500 obo.
