i mean wasn't this thread made so we can bash on bad bikes in one thread so that we don't do it on others, or start multiple threads bashing multiple bikes??

Absolutely, bash away. Just don't bash each other on a personal level.

And that, too, must surely be a joke.

You just locked, thoroughly sanitized and then unlocked a thread - only hours ago, because of a user's bike was criticized!

I'm not having it for you, Tejano, but for the flaming two-facedness of having this thread running.

I disagree- more than just the users bike was criticized- there were personal attacks in there as well (the 'street cred' thing).

Harrassment
Harassment occurs when a member insults, attacks, and denigrates another member at any time. We have zero tolerance for taking an argument about a any topic to a personal level. For instance, the use of terms such as "idiot, moron, stupid" and other derogatory terms constitutes harassment. The idea is to make this a pleasant environment to discuss cycling, not a schoolyard, or name-calling and rock-throwing festival. Repeated critical and sharply negative posts toward a forum member can also constitute harassment. This applies to all content submitted by users including posts, avatars and signatures.

Personal attacks and inflammatory behavior will not be tolerated.

Respect the forum staff. We're not here to make life harder to anyone. Any decision taken by the administrators and moderators is final and must be respected.

Vulgarity
As a community with a diverse variety of members and readers, we ask that our members to post without using vulgarity. Vulgarity not only includes vulgar language and pictures but also sexist, racist, anti-religious, images of graphic violence, political statements and homophobic language which may offend other members. In addition, the "masking" of vulgarity by inserting * or another keystroke in place of one or more letters in a vulgar term is unacceptable in most cases. This applies to all content submitted by users including posts, PMs, avatars and signatures.

Violations of these rules can lead to infraction points and banning from the forum.

Thank you for your cooperation.

OK...OK...I will chose my words more diplomatically to suit the bike forum terms of usage.

This thread began as bashing a bike forums members bike that he posted a picture of in a different tread. then the title is..... .Jackass BFSSFG poseur tarck bicyclist of the day Maybe Management should have locked this thread from the get go.

Dont contradict yourself simply because two guys were having fun messing with each other on a boring night. You either lay down the law or don't, you have to be firm fair and consistent. As I personally see it there is no consistency in regards to this thread.

Thank you for your time

You are right. It should have stayed closed due to personal attacks. There goes him trying to be a nice guy, cleaning it up and re opening it for you all.

Thread closed.
