The photo is kinda small but you can see it is a junky bike with nice-ish parts on it. It is on eBay with an opening bid of $750:

i wonder if this is the same seller, or if someone actually bought that POS and is now trying to be rid of it...

You know, I've seen you be an ass in 3 different threads here tonight. Thanks for making the forums so enjoyable.
Here's one : https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...9378&page=1438
Here's another: https://www.bikeforums.net/singlespeed-fixed-gear/486799-sugino-crank-clarification.html
This one makes three and I'm only halfway done reading the new threads.

maybe when it was new 10 years ago. the whole bike is worth maybe $500 in parts... $50 for the stem, $400 for the wheelset, $50 for the rest of it.

Single speed with "no breaks" and no foot retention. Pictures show brake levers and brakes. . . "Rides Great" until you need to stop.
That frame is sad to have been turned into such an ugly bike.
Wow.

I haven't been on bikeforums for months but this ad made me return. As far as I'm concerned this bike wins, or loses, depending on how you view this thread.

14t on the flip, 19 on the flop? Doesn't sound convenient in any sense.

The best part of that CL ad is this:
i know what the bike is worth so no lowballing.
How much does is a used aerospoke and a weinman worth? 200 bucks maybe? So the rest of that bike must be worth 650 or so. Never realized how expensive pugeot conversions were. I need to get into that racket.
