when i have a pair of bars taped up on a quill stem or some ourys nicely installed, i often just pull out the whole stem/bar combo and put in a different one when i want to switch between risers and drops. much faster and easier and you don't have to disturb your tape/grips.
I agree, that is the most sensible way to do it if you don't have a removable face quill stem.

I do that on my threadless stems...! 3 bolts vs 4!....

that and my track drops have a different clamp diameter vs. my aerobars/nitto horns.

I (almost) always run a brake, too, except for my joke 650C barspin-fail setup, so I have two bar/stem combos with a brake attached too, and one brakeless barspin stem/bar setup.

Buyer Beware! Jackasses everywhere, even eBay! Can you believe it?

https://cgi.ebay.com/LYGIE-CONFENTE-V...1%7C240%3A1318

BIKE CONDITION:BIKE OVER ALL CONDITION IS VERY GOOD,NO DENT OR DAMAGE ON THE FRAME AND FORK.BOTH TIRES ARE GOOD.FRAME AND FORK WAS REPAINTED IT IS NOT A BAD PAINT JOB.DECALS WAS JUST ADDED-ON.BIKE WAS TESTED AND PERFORMS REALLY WELL.IT PICKS UP A LOT OF SPEED BECAUSE OF THE BIGGER CHAIN RING(GOOD WORK OUT!).THIS BIKE IS COMES WITH COMPLETE FRONT BRAKE SET(NOT PICTURED) BUT IT WILL BE INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION.I JUST WANT TO LET YOU KNOW THAT THIS BIKE IS VERY DANGEROUS TO RIDE W/O BRAKE I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INJURIES.IF YOU ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH FIXED GEAR "PLEASE DO NOT BUY OR BID".THIS IS A GOOD COLLECTOR BIKE.I GET A LOT GOOD COMMENT ON THIS PARTICULAR BIKE...

This bike is NOT a Confente.

Wow, that poor frame.

Initially I thought, looks cool, bars suck... Upon inspection, drips in paint, looks like it wasn't masked off properly (look at the lugs)...

bbattle: are you saying the bike is a knock-off with fake decals? not familiar with confente frames.

if so, that's weak.

For the money though, there's some potential in that bike, methinks. Just, the sketchy paint job and decals hint at something more sinister. Also, is that possibly a suicide hub in the back, judging by the quick releases?

That frame is actually pretty nice. Did anyone else catch the Campagnolo dropouts? I have a feeling there is alot of chrome underneath that ugly paint too. The components aren't too shaby either. I'm guessing it is made from pretty good tubing. If the guy would just flip his bullhorns back around and strip off the fake stickers he would probably sell that thing alot quicker.

definitely a suicide hub, and it looks like brazeons hacked off as well. too bad, to. its just my size and I would have put in a bid had that D0uchebag left it how it was supposed to be.

edit: I reported this listing to ebay.

No, because its a poor use of the colors- they're not complimentary, except for the pink and green.
