Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

philly area singlespeed race!

RESCHEDULED FOR MAY 29 due to rain

12 Miles of Belmont Time Trial
When: Thursday the 22nd at 6:30p.m (first racer starts @ 6:30).
Where: Belmont Plateau, Fairmount Park, Philly
Why: Cuz we have nothing better to do.
What: This is a mountain bike time trial. The course is around 12 miles in length and will be composed of some the tightest, twistiest, single-track on earth (we actually have use arrows for this event to mark the course).
How: Participants will have a 30 second staggered start from the Belmont Plateau. Once finished the 12 mile course, participants are expected to check in with the time keeper to get their "official" time.

Don't miss the Fabulous Prizes and Post Party!

This is a shine only event; if it rains, we will do it next Thursday the 29th.
