Convert my Fuji.
I have an old Fuji roadbike that I'm thinking of converting to fixed gear. I heard the easiest way would be to just buy a wheelset and I seen this on ebay.

I was wondering if that would do the trick?

maybe. you might have to add some washers to the rear axle if your rear is spaced more than 120mm. cut your chain and see if it lines up with one of the front chainrings. if not, you'll have to get a different length spindle for the bottom bracket. ideally take both of the front chainrings off and put a single-speed specific chainring on to prevent the chain from falling off. btw, that's a pretty crappy wheelset on ebay. but if you're just interested in trying out fg, then go for it, but don't overpay.

I'm pretty sure that all the old Fujis are spaced 120,
maybe even slightly less. So yeah, those wheels with
some chainring spacer bolts should make for a fine
fixed gear bike.

my old fuji grand tourer was spaced 126, but throwing a 120 in the back was just fine, it bends the stays just a bit, but so what, it's steel. washers wouldn't be a bad idea, but this was before i even knew what spacing was, and once i found out, i figured it worked so far, why mess with it?
