I just noticed a big hole in my Under the Weather shants, so it might be time to replace them. I think MEC is clearing out their Samaurai pants, so I can get some of those and cut them off.

I didn't look at the sizes, just noticed the manufacturer and the fact that they were made of techy fabric and cheap. To help everyone fit in to these pants a bit better may I offer the following:

I picked up some mid-shants at MEC - they're actually Sportif Paverider 2 Capris. They come just below the knee, instead of mid-calf. I'll find out tomorrow whether they work...
