pedal problem
Ok i ride a fixed gear and my left pedal, when i first push off to get started on it, it makes a click noise, then when i go to slow down and use an opposing force against it, it makes the noise again. I think it may be the bearing inside the pedal, and i checked the crankset out and everything making sure it wasnt that. anyone know how to fix this problem?

i had that problem too, it was because the crank arm wasn't tapped completely into the BB spindle in my case.
thanks andre, i'm gunna give that a shot :)
mine does that also, it's b/c my pedal is missings a nut or two

Regrease the threads in your bottom bracket. Try your pedal threads too, but go for the bottom bracket.
also tighten your chainring bolts...preferably with the appropriate tools.
you have a dirty bottom bracket maam
i dont think i have a dirt bottom bracket its a brand new bike i got it about a week ago and havent done much riding on it
regrease the bottom bracket. I had a similar problem just a few weeks after my bottom bracket was put on. I took it off, greased it up and put it back on, problem solved.
yeah bikes come from the factory with a minimum of grease.
