Redline 925 sizing
3 Attachment(s)
Hi,
After quite some deliberation I decided on a Redline 925. I had to order one out , so i had to take it sight unseen. I asked them because I didn't know how the frame sizes ran. I am 5'11" -6 ft roughly. They said I belonged on a 56cm. My Bianchi Volope is a 58cm with very little top tube clearance, and my Specialized tricross is 56cm. I realize these both have higher bottom brackets. I'm just worrying that it might be a tad small. I may be completely silly though, so if anyone can tell me that I'm being crazy that would be excellent, but if i look absurdly big on this bike let me know. I attached a few pictures to give you a idea. Thanks |
larger pics would help
all i can tell is that your pants are too small |
looks like a decent fit. way better than some of the silliness i've seen in here. raise your seat a few inches to start.
most people here seem to prefer smaller frames, with a long seatpost. |
I am 6'1 and ride a 58cm road bike as well. I have looked at buying a 56cm 925 and would say that it is the size that I would want. That is if you want a commuter bike, that is easy on and easy off. Looks like it fits you all right.

Better too small than too big.

Thanks for the responses. I was looking at the dimensions of the 925 vs the tricross, and they are pretty close, so it must just be in my head. A 58cm probably would be too big.
Thanks. |
I ride the 58
I'm 5 11 almost 6' and I ride the 58 and think it's the perfect fit. A 56 would've been too small for me but it's not just height that matters, it's where you're body is long or short.
