SF - Freight Baggage/Travis Poh
He said that he was sponsoring a couple of races in the coming weeks (this was about 10 days ago or so) - and I've also heard that he has intermittent 'net access.
I'm getting all itchy to discuss bag options with him - should I call?

All -
Thanks for the replies. I haven't had a chance to make the call, but will tomorrow.
mcatano - I've actually checked out your For Sale Sling - however, due to a busted collar bone, I'm hunting for a backpack myself. 100% worth the wait, too, from the looks & comments others have made about his work.
I'm excited.

yep - your Flickr photo show was a big incentive. that, and reading jacobs comments on the bag. and a few other people who have posted teh infos here. and stuff.
if I could have one wish though, it'd be that there were a few more people using/posting some snapshots of his work.
Absntr - for picking colors, did you just refer to another website that displays the Codura choices?

I've seen enough of his bags to know what I wanted -- I ordered the bag shortly after I made a trip to SF and rode with and saw some friends out there. I also got to try the bag on so that helped a lot as well. I went with a simple colour choice though -- the black, the grey and the marigold, which is a richer yellow/gold than the yellow he has.
There's a PDF/image of his pseudo catalog which tells you stuff. It's sort of daunting since he doesn't have much stuff online -- fortunately, I know enough people with his stuff ans have seen enough of his bags to make a trusted call, so I understand your frustration.
You can also do a search on Flickr for freight baggage or travis poh and you should bring up some results.

You know, I promise that I've searched flickr at least 6.19 times for "freight baggage" "Freight Baggage" blah blah blah blah blah - and the only hits I was getting were from Absntr's photo collection, and now there they are.
I'll be d4/\/\n'd - so many nice looking bags.
Also - I've actually bookmarked that PDF image - its on page 3 of the Giant Bag thread here.
Pretty helpful stuff, although I think that his prices have change marginally since that was printed/published.

Websites are so 90's. I suppose that makes them retro, no?
