Opinions on the EAI Brassknuckle?
 

who has one and what do you think?
i suspect there's got to be more than a few riding this frame but i've found little info on these forums.
please post pics if you have 'em!

Two different frames. The one you linked to is the BareKnuckle which is a steel frame while the BrassKnuckle is an aluminum frame.

Oh whoops, I totally read the OP as "Bareknuckle"

i know it is kinda ugly. for me i don't mind the welds as much as the sloping top tube compact style frame. seems like it'd be easy to toss around tho.

i know retem gives it a thumbs up. i'm hoping to see if there are any cool looking builds. i thought his was pretty good considering it's an aesthetically challenged frame.

hope I'm not late I love mine it is very light weight and doesn't seem to flex a bit under my weight and power it handles very nicely and has a softer ride than my khs flite which is steel the angels of the bike are steeper by anout a degree on the bk however the khs has round legged straight forks which really make your hands zing when you hit a pot hole

the bk is manufactured by kenesis for eai it is ugly but no more ugly than most I find the ride to be very confortable fast and stable ovrall it is a killer bike for wht I paid for it here is a pic for you

yeah I go for function fit then form but its nice when you can spice it up a bit

brass knuckle is 299 and has stainless track end inserts and a better tube set the powdercoat is also super thick on it much like the bareknuckle the jamies roy only has a laquer pantjob and x brand tubes

If they cant even put 4 tubes together in an attractive fashion...

The brassknuckles look like Redline 24" cruisers. I don't care for their form at all. Not ideal for getting low and tight...

i want to get a brassknuckle but I have a bad feeling EVERYONE that is looking for an affordable track frame in my town is gonna be riding one by mid summer.

to me, the brassknuckle is a sweeter version of the giant bowery.

I have no clue what you are talking about its compact geometry

interesting that it's mostly aesthetics that's stopping people. if this frame had the same geometry as the BAREknuckle it'd be way more popular, i think.
what's the advantage to compact geometry? besides more nut clearance...

compact shortens the seat tube chainstays and seatstays making you wheelbase shorter and making the frame stiffer
