700c fork on an old 27" frame

A newbie question...I've searched the forum and haven't found a specific answer to my question. So here is the question...I know I can run a 700c fork on a 27" frame with 700c wheels, but will this make the frame lean down or forward in the front because of the size difference? or will it be unnoticable?

Yes, but if you put a 700c wheel in the rear, all is well.

unnoticeable

My girlfriends 27" Univega conversion has a 700c fork on it. It's a unicrown KHS fork and the clearance is super tight. This has actually affected the handling a little bit as the original fork had about a 1/2 of clearance between crown and 27" tire.

She runs a 700c wheelset. The handling is changed, but not dramatically enough to be detrimental (I actually like it more).

i switched the long rake 27inch fork on my raleigh to a short rake 700c fork, it made the bike more aggressive and 100 percent more awesome to ride

Thanks for the info...any photos of this? I think I'm going to try this set up.

I've seen headsets cause more difference than what you're talking about.
